Physical details
Coat is almost entirely grey, with patches of black and lighter shades of grey.
Their 'face' shifts between grey, red, and green colours according to viewing angle. It the flitter gleams and generally confuses predators.

BIOGRAPHY
Though he does not remember this, Schwarz was a beloved pet to a family of humans far away once upon a time ago. He somehow had escaped while they had been shipping him to their new home, and was washed away at sea for days. He had been floating inconspicuously on a small piece of drifting wood and landed unconscious on the Veiled Wildwoods Island. He was dying from exhaustion, and a flitter took the opportunity to bond with him therefore saving his life and its own. The flitter's inborn instincts led him from the beach to white meadow where he lived happily for many years with his mate and children. He had found himself a wife, 4 children and a brother in law, everything was perfect. They created a home in a small burrow in white meadow, lodged in between the crooks of larger boulders within a dried up river bed. Their placement of the burrow was unfortunate, as one day a flash flood washed it all away and drowned his family. He was wandered across the Wildwoods ever since, searching for meaning.
